经过Bukit Indah Jusco时，Miss Bom注意到了外观砖红色又独树一格的建筑，这就是我最近发现了的新餐厅The Kitchen of Marco Polo,不久前终于有机会去试试这间新开的餐厅味道如何。
Miss Bom notice a new restaurant that just
opened not long ago near Bukit Indah Jusco, the restaurant has a eye catchy colour
with a special design which is The Kitchen of Marco Polo. The Marco Polo Kitchen is set to ‘dock’ in
Bukit Indah, right in the heart of the Iskandar development of Johor, Malaysia.
说到马可·波罗，Missbom 在中学时有听过，他是意大利威尼斯商人、旅行家及探险家。於元朝时，随他的父亲和叔叔通过丝绸之路来到中国，自称懂得蒙古语及汉语。回到威尼斯后，马可·波罗在一次威尼斯和热那亚之间的海战中被俘虜，在监狱里口述其旅行经历，由鲁斯蒂谦写出鼎鼎大名的《马可·波罗游记》
But who
is Marco Polo? Marco Polo was
a Venetian merchant, traveler and adventurer. He learned
about trading whilst his father and uncle, Niccolò and Maffeo, three of them
embarked a epic journey and travelled through SILK ROAD to Asia. Marco Polo learned
Mongolian language and Mandarin. When they returned to Venice, Marco was
imprisoned in the war with Genoa; so he dictated his stories to a
cellmate and it was called "Travels of Marco Polo”. He was released
in 1299, became a wealthy merchant, married and had three children.
The
Marco Polo Kitchen的室内设计是是属于摩登中的简单，因为有洋灰和红砖是主要的设计材料给人很耳目一新的感觉。店里座位也分有几种，适合家庭也适合朋友来这里用餐。
The Marco Polo
Kitchen’s interior décor is conceptualized towards simplicity with a modern
twist; with ‘raw’ finishing from ceiling to the floor with dusty grey and red
stones, this creates a contemporary feel and sets the atmosphere for a culinary
experience. The seating has been specially divided according to areas of
dining, lounge and bar sitting that overlooks the entire outlet. It can be seen
that The Marco Polo Kitchen plans to make a mark as the place to dine and
hang out with family and friends.
我们点了三道主食，分别有披萨，意大利面和汉堡，分量都刚刚好！
We ordered three main dishes to share, one pizza, spaghetti, and
one burger. The portion of the food is just nice for us to finish all.

汉堡的分量对女孩子来说可能有点太多，但是对男生一定是刚刚好的分量，因为我小弟吃完了整个汉堡！
The burger is too huge
for girls but it is absolutely fit the stomach of the boys, my bro finished the
whole burger!

总体来说，食物的味道对我来说还好，应该不会常来，但是这里的地点适中，很适合住在附近的居民来家庭聚餐：）
Overall, the Marco Polo Kitchen
tastes normal for Miss Bom but it would be a good place for residents of Bukit
Indah for family gathering :)
