Hi people, how are you all?

These blog posts are meant to give my friends a reference as they are going to visit to Sydney and Melbourne soon. Also, for those who are interested to travel to Australia, hopefully this would be a good guide for you.

Part 1: Must Visit Café and Restaurants in Sydney

Enjoy reading the post!

Harry's Cafe de Wheels

First recommendation would be Harry’s Café de Wheels, the Best Hot Dog in Sydney, is a good place to patronise at anytime of the day. For your information, it has a 70 years old history and they serve fresh pastries including hot dog, pies and sausage roll. You must not miss out their signature Hot Dog de Wheels as it is most probably the best hot dog in Sydney and it costs you AUD $6. Their authentic pie topped with mashed peas is really special and tasty.

Bourke Street Bakery

Bourke Street Bakery is a popular neighbourhood bread shop located at beautiful Surry Hills that serve nice coffee and good pastries for breakfast. Their pastries were so tempting and I have ordered croissant, chocolate tart and vanilla brulee tart. Undoubtedly, I had a great breakfast experience at Bourke Street Bakery. You should definitely give them a try due to the delicious taste as well as their friendly service.

Hurricane’s Grill Steakhouse is a must go restaurant as their famous ribs are definitely worth queuing. I really miss their ribs because it was too good, the taste is just nice and the bake potatoes are perfectly blended with the sour cream. It is located at the famous tourism spot – Darling Harbour. Don’t forget to make a reservation else you might not get a chance to grab it! The premium Australian steaks and burgers are all in their place.

Mappen Noodle Bar & Oiden Rice Bowl Bar

Mappen Noodle Bar and Oiden Rice Bowl Bar are my favourite restaurants in Sydney. I had been there two consecutive days to try both restaurants, as they are just side-by-side. The portion of the food is just nice with reasonable price, and most importantly the food are really tasty and you can’t just get enough for it. The restaurant isn’t spacious enough to accommodate too many customers, so do eat faster if there’s a long queue up there. Also, remember to clean the table as they are practising self-service program, be considerate to those who is going to use your table later.

La Renaissance Café Pâtisserie

A family business that has been operating for 39 years – one of the Australia’s finest patisseries as they always keep their cakes, pastries, savouries, chocolates and macaroons in good quality. I enjoyed eating their lemon tart sitting at the outdoor café nestled between historic sandstone walls. This is really a good experience although it is a slightly pricey.
