Today I gonna introduce the Portuguese food I visited last year at Melaka,
The shop is located at the crowded famous Jonker Street. I like to visit Melaka as there's always full of vintage and antique feel but Melaka is always very crowded during holiday... I still have not complete my food hunting mission in Melaka, sigh~
So, I'm determine to complete the food trail in Melaka one day!
Jonker Street was super crowded on that day I visited, every restaurant had very long queue and the situation on that day was you need to wait at least one hour before you enter the restaurant, my brother was ald fed up with me as I was the one who suggested to come Melaka :p
However, we found Eleven Bistro & Restaurnat after strolling alongthat area. It was very crowded too but at least we had seat to have lunch.
Portuguese style fried rice
The first dishes was Portuguese style fried rice, overall the taste just a little bit stronger than the fried rice we normally eat.
Fu Rong Egg
A very Chinese dishes we ordered, it taste like normal Fu Rong Egg we have, no doubt that it is always a good dishes to eat with rice.
Mussels
It has been a long time I did not eat Mussels, and this Mussels taste REALLY Good! The mussels is so FRESH and JUICY, and it was being finished within five mins, LOL
Curry Dable Chicken
The Curry Dable Chicken was their specialty, it is really NICE and DELICIOUS especially with the the gravy. This was a whole new curry taste we ever had, the rich taste of spice is a superb accompaniment with rice In addition, the meat is very tender soft and fully adsorbed the gravy, yum yum!
Highly recommended!
Portuguese-style Hai San Baked Fish
If you are the huge fans of spice, I bet you will definitely like the spice of the Portuguese Baked fish, the spice gravy made me feel like blow out the FIRE, LOL!! the spicy herbs and the lemongrass makes the gravy smells really good and you will definitely eat alot of rice with this dishes.
Portuguese-style Hai San Sotong
The taste of this dishes is almost same with the baked fish but the sotong is extremly tender and very Q!
Seeing all these photos are making my mouth watering again~~
We really ordered a lot rite! However, we finished the whole table food and no food waste at all! You can see how good it is.. Attached the decoration inside the shop with two models, LOL
Overall, the price is reasonable and the food is good! :)
What I can say is most of the Portuguese dishes are really spicy for me but all my family members all enjoyed the food very much!
Do pay a visit here if you visit Jonker Street!
The restaurant will turn into Bistro after 11pm everyday!
